August 18, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Your hosts Fungadelic Farms will take you on a deep dive into psychedelics with a focus on magic mushrooms. They will cover their historical use,  pharmacology, therapeutic use as well as dosing and best practices. They will discuss the deeper questions these substances reveal about our nature. and answer any curiosities you have on the topic. Whether you’re a seasoned psychonaut or just curious about these experiences, this presentation will have something for everyone. There is no cost to attend, but donations will be accepted.

Colin and Catherine met at Fungi Academy where they lived and worked together, but their study of mycology and psychedelics long predates this. Catherine is a bioartist who works with the intelligence of nature to create speculative products for human use, including mushroom paper, kombucha leather, and plastic from algae. As a trained yogi she has extensive experience with altered states of consciousness through breathwork, chanting, and movement. This also includes experience with mind-altering substances like ayahuasca, LSD, huachuma, and mushrooms. This exploration has led her to study psychedelic topics with the Beckley Institute and Chacruna, and she hopes to use this expertise to help facilitate people through their own experiences with these technologies.

Colin first got introduced to mushrooms through permaculture and the ecological benefit fungi provide. This curiosity lead him to live and work at the Fungi Academy, where he dove head-first into the psychedelic aspects of fungi. Colin Community Manager of the property and lead open houses and community-sharing circles. Colin has helped facilitate several mushroom cultivation courses and group psychedelic ceremonies and feels called to continue this work with psychedelic mushrooms. He is passionate about educating people about all aspects of fungi to inspire hope for the future.
