WindfallFound and IndoorShoes Music offer an escape from the fall weather at its coldest and grayest. Come take refuge at Mahtay Café and set sail upon the Milky Way to STARGAZING, an intimate summer night scene of local music and interstellar artistry set in downtown St. Catharines.
First, huddle around the warm glow of a makeshift campfire for an acoustic performance by singer-songwriter Spencer Turcotte. Relax, grab a drink and take in the warm breeze. Then, whip out the bug spray and watch your step as you venture into the wilderness with far-out alt-rock outfit Majora. (Quickly make a run down to the lake for one last bathroom break, if needed.) Finally, amid the ambient drawl of insects, look up to the night sky. A starry expanse swallows you whole. WindfallFound, with their array of space-rock instruments (scientifically tuned to the appropriate interstellar vibrations), catch you mid-astral plane and guide you back home through the cosmos. Your trip ends upon returning to Earth — in your hand, a piece of a Starlight System Map to commemorate the night of STARGAZING.
