ADULT ART CLASSES (14 & up)- DRAWING AND PAINTING With A Live Model
at the MAHTAY CAFE in Downtown St. Catharines in September! First come, First served!!

Here’s the lowdown:

CLASSES
Tuesday evenings 7:00pm-9:30 (2.5 hours x 10 weeks)
September 19th to November 28th (October 31st off for Hallowe’en)

INSTRUCTOR
Amy Ballett (Associate of the Ontario College of Art- Drawing and Painting-1987, B.A., B.Ed, Brock University, Visual Art Specialist-Western University, Ontario College of Teachers-1994). Professional Artist and Teacher w/the DSBN since ’97

WHAT YOU GET
– 25 hours of studio instruction
– teacher with over 30 years experience
– an experienced artists’ model to draw from every week
– a wonderful venue in the Downtown Arts Core
– individualized instruction within a medium sized group
– like-minded friends
– work in any of the following media: (Your choice!)
– drawing- pencil, pen & ink, chalk pastels, charcoal, other dry media
– watercolour, water soluble pastels, coloured inks and
brushes, drybrush
– tables and chairs are provided

COST/COURSE REGISTRATION:INFORMATION
Cost- $250.00 Includes model fee, venue use, 25 hours of instruction
to be paid in advance by September 5, 2017 –
CLASS CAP = 20 students, so first come first served! Payment IN FULL may be made by cash, cheque, PayPal, or etransfer

One 15 minute model break is included in the 2.5 hour session.
USE YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES
Parking is at your own cost and is on the street or in the Carlisle Parking Garage.
Neither Amy Ballett nor the Mahtay Cafe are responsible for any damage or loss of equipment that you bring to the classes
